Rural Development“

The most important findings of the research : 
∙The Program, over time, attracts students from all over the country, representing diverse scientific specializations and university departments of origin. 
∙Graduates are satisfied to very satisfied in a number of specialized issues, including courses, lecturers, secretarial services, thematic of the theses and overall program coherence: 
 
 
∙Student engagement remains strong, with 87% of graduates participating in teamwork during their studies. Most students did not encounter any significant problems or difficulties attending the Program, based on the knowledge they had from their basic degree. 
 
 
 
The added value of the Program: 
∙Before enrolling in the Program, 78% of them were employed, while after graduation, this percentage increased to 93%. Graduates primarily work as private employees but also as freelancers. 
∙82% of graduates state that the knowledge, abilities and skills acquired through the Program positively impacted their labor market prospects. 
∙Nearly all graduates (94%) indicate that the Program added new knowledge, abilities and skills that complemented their undergraduate education. 
∙The thesis, for two-thirds of graduates (67%), functioned as an effective “bridge” between postgraduate studies and the labor market. 
The graduates are very satisfied from the professors, the curriculum and the courses, as well as the secretariat services. This is confirmed from the comparative presentation of their opinions on the reasons why they had chosen the Program for postgraduate studies (which reflect the opinions they had before studying there) and on what they consider to be the strongest elements of the Program (which reflect their opinions after graduating from it).  
The above good to very good performance is capable of improvement, with even greater 
efforts from both the administration of the Program, as well as all those involved in it. 
However, where there is much room for improvement and the most efforts must be made, are in the following issues: 
–The completion of the thesis within the stipulated time limits. 
–The improvement of the computer rooms used by the Program. 
–Stronger connection with the labor market, so that, among other things, graduates feel that they have obtained the necessary skills and knowledge from the Program to be competitive in their work. 
The report provides specific information on the labor market needs in the near and medium term for Agricultural Advisory services, in seven cutting-edge areas: the effective 
organization and operation of agricultural farms; agricultural investments; precision 
nutrition and minimizing feed costs on livestock farms; Ecological Programs 
(Ecoschemes) of the new Common Agricultural Policy; Medicinal and Aromatic Plants; 
smart agriculture; and the welfare of productive animals. 
Finally, the Program makes a substantial contribution to the implementation of 
Agricultural Advisory Services through the comprehensive technical and economic 
knowledge it provides to graduates.
